We had good participation in the Roll Calls that were held on Hidden Oaks Circle over the past several weeks. TPD will continue to hod Roll Calls on the circle from time to time as their schedulig permits.
Look for Roll Calls to be held in other areas of our grid, beginning soon. Roll Calls are a great way to meet the officers who patrol our area regularly, and to inform them of any concerns you may have within our grid as well as near by grids. These Roll Calls are held for the purpose of TPD and all of us becoming acquainted and familiar with current issues within our area, which will ease our working relationships with one another.
When you see a large group of cruisers gathered together within the neighborhood, walk up and ask, "Is this an open Roll Call?" and feel free to stick around to hear what the officers have to say about the current trends in our area. Also, this would beyour chance to ask those questions you have in the back of your mind, such as, "Is TPD enforcing the noise ordinance regarding these cars that blare their speakers loud enough to rattle my wndows?". Plus, you can then give them a description of the auto which is committing that offence with great regularity.
