OK--it's over there, not over here. But our county & city already instituted fees for formerly free park & rec center usage last fall. (Didn't know it costs to get into the city pools now, did ya? You'd be amazed at what it costs, considering previously it was all FREE as provided for by your property taxes.)
And now Pinellas County wants to begin the sme thing? Considering when we go to the beach rom this county, residents of Hillsborough usually go to Pinellas County beaches, this will affect us as well.
Check out the article below. And please contact Pinellas County commissioners and voice your opinion -- before it's too late. If this usage fee idea continues to grow, most of us won't be able to afford to take the kids anywhere. We'll all just be sitting around watching the paint dry.
