The use of this NHW site has dwindled down quite a bit over the past 10 months. It would be great to get more people to check this as a message board to see what may be going on in our neighborhood. As soon as we here of a pattern of break-ins, traffic issues, BOLOs,etc. we post that info on here so that you can have info that is as current as possible, instead of you not knowing until a neighbor knocks on your door to tell you about it (that can take days). If you would tell us what other info you would like to see posted on here, you need only to tell us.
We would like to use this web site a our PRIMARY means of communication among our residents. It saves time, trees and shoes.
So far this month (October 2010) 21 people have viewed this discussion page. Out of those 21 people surely SOMEONE has a topic to place on the table to talk about. Or a question to ask. Or maybe a complaint to make?
How do we go about getting people more involved in Crime Watch? How do we make this more of a GROUP effort? How do we make others understand how important a role Crime Watch plays in keeping criminal mischief down? And auto burglaries down? And home invasions down? And speeders driving less boldly?
We want to know how to make things better for our community. Don't you???
