A group of neighbors is going to try to convince the city to install a Dog Park and bicycle trail at the Forest Hills Rec Center. The south wooded area covers a good amount of property, and isn't used to any of the sports activities, so it wouldn't be taking away from the kids or sprots teams that currently use the park. The closest Dog Park is Horizan Park, which is a good 15 - 20 minute drive with your dog in your car.
Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to walk your dog to the park to play, and watch your kids ride their bikes at the same time??
