The initial GPS training and road survey for Manazanar National Historic Site will take place Apr 18-20, 2003.
Volunteers are needed for this Public Land Corps grant. All participants MUST be Expo Rangers (applications available in class or by e-mail), sign all appropriate Expo forms, have a sleeping bag and tent. Due to the specialized training, priority given to Expo Rangers, prior trained/skilled participants, and those willing to make a long term commitment to teaching and training others.
Depart for Diaz Lake campground by 12:pm. Campout Friday and Saturday night.
Saturday GPS road grid survey and training.
Return Sunday afternoon about 5pm.
