Announcing the "Room to Grow" Juliana Greenhouse Grant for Schools and Communities

Juliana, manufacturers of hobby greenhouses, and
the National Gardening Association are pleased to
announce the first annual Room to Grow Juliana
Greenhouse Grant.

Who is eligible to apply: Schools or community
organizations across the United States with
established youth gardens who plan to garden with at least 15 children between the ages of 3 and 18 in 2004. Employees of Juliana and National Gardening Association are not eligible for this award.

What's being awarded:
1 Grand Prize: Professional Horticultural Greenhouse (retail value $2,495)

1 Second Place award: GreenLab?® Portable Greenhouse

3 Third Place awards: Walk-In Mini Greenhouses

5 Fourth Place awards: 4-Tier Growing Rack & Double Cold Frame

40 Fifth Place awards: NGA's Guide to School
Greenhouses

Award criteria: Applicants should demonstrate a
child-centered plan that emphasizes youth learning
and working in a greenhouse environment. Areas
considered include youth participation, learning
goals, and need.

Submission process: To apply, download and complete an application form and mail it to Room to Grow Greenhouse Grant, National Gardening Association, 1100 Dorset Street, South Burlington, VT 05403. Your application must be postmarked by December 31, 2003.

Important: Winners will be required to complete an
evaluation survey of the awards program.

Notification: Applicants will receive a notification letter regarding award status by March 1, 2004.

not improve your chances of receiving an award.
