Attention ESSI Habitat Stewards!!
The LA County Department of Parks and Recreation is currently recruiting ?“Recreation Service Leaders?” on a recurring basis. The particular focus is for persons familiar with local flora (native plants) and local fauna (wildlife) of southern California. Persons are hired for various terms/conditions (e.g. year round, part-time; seasonal). Part of the ?“recurring?” term means your name is placed in a pool that could be called back next year / season, once you?’ve been hired into the system.
So here is your chance to put your knowledge and experience to good use, get outdoors, share you knowledge and love of the outdoors with others----and get paid to do it!
(Note: LA County Department of Parks and Recreation has the following Natural Area Parks: Catalina Island Interpretive Center, High Desert Wildlife Sanctuaries, Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park, Placerita Canyon Nature Center, Devil's Punchbowl Nature Center, Eaton Canyon Nature Center, San Dimas Canyon Nature Center, Whittier Narrows Nature Center.)
