Easthaven Neighborhood Assoc.

Hello all. Just a quick note from your Vice-President to let everyone know that the project to raise funds for the repairs to the damaged sign at the entrance on Easthaven has been a major success. The board met on Tuesday, April 5th to discuss the project's direction over the course of the next few months. We will be submitting our reuest for a block grant to the city by the middle of June, since we had enough participation to warrent our continuing with the process.

Further Updates

The city has approved our matching grant application for the repairs to the Median. Demolition of the existing sign structure has already begun and will continue on the morning of Saturday, August 27 at 8:30 am. A downpayment on the sign will be made this month and we can expect the completion of the sign sometime in September. However, the complete median renovation project will take much longer.
