Join us and help keep an eye on our neighborhood

Eastwood Homeowners Association partially supports the Volunteers in Patrol program for our neighborhood. We invite you to get trained and join the effort to help protect our neighborhood.

How Volunteers in Patrol actually works

After training by a Dallas Police Officer assigned to train VIP's, the VIP members patrol our neighborhood as a team of 2 on a normal basis. Some of our VIP members patrol by walking. This is a non-contact patrol: they call 911 for any supicious activity.

VIP Training Schedule for 2009

The Dallas Police department will hold training sessions as listed below:

Next training session will be 24, 25 and 27 May 2010 and the first two classes will be held at at the NE Dallas Police Station at 9915 E. NW Highway at 7pm and the last class will be held at Dallas City Hall in 911 Center Conference Room at 7pm.
