As crappy as the weather has been, walking over to the pool only to find out it is closed because of an investigation from an indicent that happened in the bathroom is very upsetting me and my family.

I tried to contact the President and Vice President with my concerns as well.

How in the world is this even remotely justified?  There are other options to monitor the pool area but closing it is not an option when we pay dues for the pool.  If this is some attempt to punish the homeowners in an attempt for someone to come forward, that is crap.  Have an emergency meeting or something.  Get pool monitors.  Give some of the speeding teenagers that race through the neighborhood something to do.  How about a camera?  Use the money that we pay the landscapers to cut the common area, since they don't behind the houses, and buy a camera.  It's hot and now I have got to PAY to go to a public pool for my family because we are investigating an occurrence?  Really?  Is something wrong with the pool water?  Is the structure suffering fromor damage?  That should be two of the reasons why our pool should be closed.  Anything else, a meeting should have been held.

I found out what happened at the pool and we as homeowners need to take pride in our community and control our children.  Mainly the teens in this community.  It is really sad that someone would come in and destroy our property.  My appologize to Greg who called and explained the situation.  I hope we can come up with a resolution.  I am here to help.

i read the notice on the door of the pool house yesterday.  you raise a good point tho...seriously, what about a quick, easy, cheap digital camera system with a 24-48 hour loop in the common area?  i've only been to pool twice this year and i've witnessed no mischevious activity.  whoever is doing this is very careful to time it when no one else is there or no adults are there.  i hope they get caught and prosecuted.

i suspect the same code was used to gain entry for both incidents???  that doesn't always mean the code holder is the culprit tho because mine was stolen and used for vandalism a few years ago while i was out of state.
