EDGEMOOR NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION

November 17, 1999

There was no business therefore no Board Meeting.

President Hawkins called the General Meeting to order at 7:30.

Minutes of October's Meeting were read by Skip. Moved and approved.

Treasurer's Report was read by Tracey. $453.31. Moved and approved.

Committee reports.......

Traffic committee... Monday night there was 891 vehicles counted westbound in several areas. This was not a "soccer night" One pad was stolen. 85% were doing 40 mph.

C.O.N.A....Conrad gave a report. If Council approves there will be a big increase for permits to pay for 12 new inspectors to be hired.
There was talk about looking at zoning in the city as it hasn't be done since the 1950's
He asked peopto ensure an accurate census count.

Skip read the correspondence.
Tree lights on 51st Terr north.
Showcase the neighborhood in the year 2000.

December meeting will be on Traffic calming. We are also suppose to have a slate of officers put before the association.
Tracey said she will run for President.

Officer Beahn said his area was pretty quiet although there was one purse snatching.
Officer Glasgow said he didn't understand the percentages given for traffic speeds in the area.
He would like to see traffic routed to Foch via 62nd Ave.
He spoke about the increase in auto theft.
