EDGEMOOR NEIGHBORHOOD MINUTES

JULY 15, 2004
The primary discussion of this meeting was in regards to the lighting in Puryear Park There is funding available for ?“Acorn?” style lighting along the back pathways of the park. It was suggested that these lights be installed as motion activated lighting in order to discourage some of the problems back in the park late at night.
Both of our CPO?’s Jason Deary and Anthony Corio reported very low crime in our area. It has been reported that this is one of the lowest crime areas in the City. I?’d like to think that this is because we have some very good neighbors who watch out for each other.
There is going to be another Neighborhood clean-up scheduled for sometime in October. This will be where we can clean out the large items in our garages and houses and put them out to the road for a special pick-up by the City. It was also suggested that we try to organize a Neighborhood Yard Sale around the same time. If anyone has any input regarding this please let us know.
