Good afternoon homeowners:

The Edgewater Property Owners Association held a meeting July 30, 2007 at the main gazebo. Ray Kincaid opened the discussion at 6:00PM.
The new landscape contract was reviewed and discussed in detail. The new landscapers will be a much needed addition to our neighborhood. The cost for the landscapers have doubled but those present agreed the benefits will out way the costs.
Drainage areas leading to the ponds are a concern as dirt and debris continue to cause standing water. The board will obtain bids to clean drainage ditches once construction is complete near the area.
Speeding, observing stop signs and driving around the center island on the wrong side of the street were discussed. The members agreed that notifying homeowners of violations and education will continue. If this does not work, additional measures will be initiated which may include fines from the HOA. This is our neighborhood, please slow down and be courteous to all neighbors.
Gate control and procedures were discussed. It was mentioned that neighborhood stickers be distributed to be placed on all vehicles. The pros and cons were discussed and will be reviewed further. A note for all neighbors, the property inside the gate is for residents and invited guests. If you see someone follow you in the gate and you believe they do not reside in Edgewater or are not an invited guests, please call the management company at 523-1320 or the police at 311. Please do not confront neighbors or invited guests.
Recently Ray Kincaid was appointed by San Antonio City Council to the Airport Noise Abatement Advisory Committee. The purpose of the Airport Noise Abatement Advisory Committee is to monitor the progress of the Noise Compatibility Program, assess the success of the Program, and report its findings to the City Council of San Antonio and the Federal Aviation Administration. Edgewater will be updated after the quarterly meetings.

A paper copy will be mailed to all homeowners with additional information.
