I went to the Planning Department yesterday to seek advice on what we can do to gain some influence on the process. I met with the administrator of the City Planning department.
His main recommendations were:
1. meet with Kendra prior to Dec. meeting to see what can be worked out
2. Possibly request that Kendra establish an HOA or at least some written covenants that insure a certain standard of building quality be maintained.
3. If concerns are not resolved, bring our issues to the meeting in December. The board will consider our suggestions or concerns. They stated they are here to help residents (not the builder) so it's a matter of what is reasonable and can be supported.
