The Vance Street Project continues to move ahead. Lakewood City Planning and Zoning has received the formal site plan from the developer and it is now in Design Review. Edgewood Neighborhood Association has received a full copy of this plan and residents may review and make comments by visiting the Lakewood Planning Department at 480 S Allison Parkway or by contacting ENO at (303) 987-7002, ext. 2003. Comments must reach Project Manager Olga Mikhailova at (303)987-7736 by March 12, 2002.

September 2001

Vance Street Promenade is moving ahead. On September 19, 2001 the Lakewood Planning Commission approved re-zoning the area from a variety of zones to 5-C zoning (Large Lot Commercial). At the same time the Planning Commission approved the vacation of the portions of Vance Street, Webster Street and 16th Avenue withing the planned center. This action will now be considered by the City Council on Monday, October 22nd at 7:00 pm in City Council Chambers, 480 S. Allison Parkway.
