Community Code Advisory Program (C.C.A.P

Sep 15, 2002

Take an active role in cleaning up your neighborhood. C.C.A.P. was setup though your local neighborhood organization to help make your neighborhood a more beautiful place to live. The neighborhood C.C.A.P. volunteers advise the owners and residents of properties located in the area of city code violations before that property is tagged and fined by a City Code Enforcement Officer. The types of violations that these volunteers look for are tall grass and weeds, graffiti, garbage, and inoperable vehicles. If a problem is spotted, information is then provided to the property owner explaining the concerns and asking for his/her cooperation in correcting the problem.
If you would like to become a C.C.A.P. volunteer or receive more information about this program please contact Erica Adshead, Lakewood City Planner at 303-987-7536 or eriads@lakewood.org
