I am really concerned about the political thugs that apparently are threatening Pawtucket employees.

I have a good friend in a menial position who refused to support a mayoral candidate and we both thought that was the exception, but recently ran into someone else who also was harassed and spoke of some others.

Why has this not come out in the newspapers or are they in bed with the politicians for whatever reason...?

Are we not allowed to be independent in voting and thinking?

Has corruption case continued in Pawtucket and we will follow North Providence ?

Wow- that confirms the many rumors I have been hearing which shocked me the first time and passed it off.

I hope there is some newspaper who does some investigation or maybe the state police should be involved. I heard the mayors race especially but maybe others are involved.

What was the big deal on the new voters with the whiteouts that they had to arrest poor Tom Scanlon? Talk about making molehills a mountain and waste of evryones time and money. Time to get some new blood in there from business and not this government pros who prey on us people

This is certainly scarey to hear about Pawtucket races and the real election is the primary for many on the 14th so hopefully we can sort this stuff out very quick.

Are there others who have heard of similar things?

I had heard from a few about these threats and harassing city workers, but thought it was just a bad rumor, but alas in a few calls, I think we are confirming a really nasty election effort to win at all costs- however illegal and unethical!

I must be sheltered, I have not even heard rumors and I've come across many city employees while I knock on doors trying to get myself elected. I do hope it's not true.
