Petition to address well meters for Elkridge Addition
We, the hereby undersigned property owners of record, as documented in the township plat book in the Office of the Allen County Auditor, owning lots within Elkridge Addition, do hereby ask the city explore a remedy for this situation and act appropriately. We are filing this petition due to lack of adequate notification terminating the well meter program.
Included monthly in our bill is a flier notifying customers of leaf pick-up, snow plowing, mosquito spraying etc. We are requesting the free meter program be reinstated pending proper and adequate notification through the utility bill. This would give all paying customers notification. Not everyone receives or reads the local newspaper. This notification was only received by a very limited number of sewer/well customers. Therefore it is only right and fair to reach as many customers as possible with a reasonable start time and deadline!!
