For Minor Crimes, you can file your crime report online

The Vancouver Police Department accepts online and telephone reports of minor crimes. In reality this also gives you a way to report mildly suspicious crime or conduct and license numbers while the information is fresh.

If you don't have internet access

The non emergency phone number to report crimes without internet access is: Non Emergency Report Line 696-8035. Be certain to still use 911 if you see a clear crime in progress or need prompt action. However, if realistically you just need a report for insurance purposes or crime statistical purposes this is a convenient way to report.

Be Honest

A false police report is a crime whether it is made in person or online. Police do prosecute false reports.
