Emerald Key (The Islands) Neighbors

I know the committee is looking into putting lights in the park area.

Areas under consideration are under the ramada and on the basketball court.

How does everybody feel about this? Any suggestions?

This is definitly needed. I think we need lights on the ramada, playground and the basketball court. The cost to light up the area maybe a lot, but to save on electricity, maybe they could have the lights on timers (like the street lights) and have them come on at around 6 or 7 pm(depends on if summer or winter) and off at 10 pm or so. If there is a time that the lights go off then there is less chance of people hanging around there at night time and less neighbors around the park would be disturbed.

I do not think you would want lights in the park if you live near it.
