Purpose and Goals of Empower North Shore Oahu

To better define our mission and our responsibility to Empower North Shore Oahu community.

?· All these wanting to take that first step to enbetter their quality of life. Empower North Shore Oahu will assist, mentor and support that endeavor.

?· Assistance for Individuals, Ohana and/or groups (IOG) in community development projects

?· Well assist in workshops, PACT, Work Hawaii and/or other training needed to assist IOG.

?· Make available of resource in funders, available loan programs, grants and a program to follow though from start to finish of revenue.

?· Six committees will make up the Six main areas of community development.

1. Welfare and Safety of & for the community
2. Local Job creation for the jobless, low income
3. Education, skill, training and career development first for jobless, low income and high school dropouts.
4. Housing and health care
5. Preservation of our life style, custom, environment (both land & ocean)
6. Finance, bookkeeping, tracking of funds disabution of funds

Each of the Six committees has sole power to run and implement and carry out the needs and follow though

Each committee will have at lease one Board of Directors serving as an activate member of that committee.

The Executive Board is made up of President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer which primary roll is Public Relation. Plan and bring the community together. Line up meeting and guest speakers, workshops, and best way to share what we are doing to the community.
