thanks again

while I certainly appreciate the efforts of those persons who have stepped up to the bar, including yourself, to participate more actively in the affairs of the community, I think we might see greater participation if the issues and facts that the Board prepares in anticipation of a meeting [such as the materials contained in the packet you described]were provided to the home owners before the meetings. We could even pay one of the enterprising youngsters in the community to make delivery throughout the Enclave. Not a great expense. Take the meeting scheduled for next week on the playground issues. if that committee has already prepared something for the meeting, why not distribute it in advance of the same so that the other homeowners might review it and give it some serious thought before they come to the meeting? That way, they can participate intelligently without shooting from the hip for or against whatever proposals are put forth.
HOA fues & finances

Michael - in addition to the year-end 2001 financial statements and 2002 budget that were passed out at the February 2002 homeowners meeting (as Steve Daniels has noted in his reply posting), there is also a Sept 2001 financial report included as part of the newsletter on our web page that has been posted for several months. I'll post another financial report after the end of the first quarter 2002. I'll make sure you get a copy of the information that was passed out at the homeowners meeting. If anyone else who was unable to attend that meeting would like a copy, please let me know and I'll see that you get it. As I've said many times before (in our newsletters and on several web postings), if anyone ever has any questions about our HOA's dues and finances, please let me know and I'll be glad to answer your questions.
