Enclave at White Rock Homeowners' Association

Has anyone had a successful experience installing window film (i.e., 3M Scotchtint Sun Control Film) to reduce indoor heat in the warmer months? We're interested in doing something to make our home more comfortable and ease the load on our air conditioner, which seems to run all the time July through September. Also, we'd appreciate any recommendations for a contractor who could handle the job. Many thanks.
