The BWCA Pumpkin Drop had a great turnout. Several residents came to pay their dues and pick out their pumpkins, enjoy some fall refreshments and pick up some free brochures and coloring books for the kids.
The Fire Department was going to bring the brand new ladder truck, but unfortunately they must have had a emergency, because they could not make it this year.
The weather was perfect, and the kids really enjoyed the face painting! We saw some very nice artwork going on!
Thank you to the Ginty's for hosting this annual event. We really enjoy getting to pick out a pumpkin without having to go to a muddy field somewhere.
Thank you to all of the residents that donated canned goods to the food drive boxes. We filled several and the Ginty's were very happy to take all of the items to the Westerville Caring and Sharing Food Pantry.
The pumpkins and refreshments were provided by the BWCA. Pumpkins have always been delivered by the local area Doran Farm Market in New Albany.
