New Neighborhood Watch Chair

I am pleased to introduce myself as your new Neighborhood
Watch Chairman. Susie Carrington, the previous chairman,
organized the program so well it is a pleasure to step into
the position. Thank you again to Susie for serving our
community since 1987.

I am looking forward to talking with each block captain, and
to participate in keeping our phone tree updated. The phone
tree is an important tool for us. If you do not have a copy
of your block's phone tree, please call your block captain
to request one. If you don't know who your block captain
is, you may call me for that information.

THE BEST CRIME PREVENTION IS A GOOD NEIGHBOR

SAFETY TIP

If you are taking a vacation this summer ask a trusted
neighbor to report any suspicious activity to the Jefferson
County Sheriff's Department. You may also call the
Sheriff's Department and give them the dates your home will
be unoccupied. They will try to provide extra drive-by
