Evergreen Meadows Homeowners Association

President's Corner

Jul 11, 2000

The noxious weed season is upon us. The EMHA Board has awarded three contracts directed toward eradication of noxious weeds on the EMHA common areas. It is expected that this effort will cost approximately $4,890.00. The Jefferson County grant of $1,245.00 will help defray this cost. Additionally, we will continue to keep homeowners informed on methods of controlling the noxious weeds on their properties.
The Board also authorized an expenditure of up to $250.00 to repair of replace the vandalized picnic tables at he ball field. This money is for materials only. If anyone would like to volunteer his or her services to help with the repairs, please give me a call. Any help will be appreciated. We would like to have the tables back in service in time for our annual barbecue in early August.
It appears that only 44% of the homeowners have paid their dues. The two things I mentioned above represent only a part of what the Association does. Obviously, it all costs money. We cannot operate without your support. To those of you who have not paid your dues, I encourage you to do so. To those of you who have paid, we thank you. To everyone, have a happy and safe summer.
