Someone of the residents of Lower Ferguson have lived in the neighborhood for years. I was wondering what used to be in the Lakeland/Ferguson shopping center over the years where the Dollar General and the Post Office currently is. I'll bet it had great businesses at one time.

There used to be a Safeway where the PO is... on the other side was a Dance Studio (in the corner). They had quite a crowd.. my daughters went there. Ballet and tap. THe cleaners that is still there (hanging on) has been there all this time... ask them... they know everything about what and when and who.. at the Shopping Center. thanks! your neighbor, Lightning |

What used to be
The Post Office was a Safeway super market. It closed and was vacant for a very long time. Then there was another super market (something like a low price super market) that closed very quickly. |
