Failure Turned Into Success

no pay/no snow plowing

Posted in: Radnor Green
thank you ????

so now your going to thank people for paying their dues. what about the people who like myself have been paying 30 /40 years, some no longer drive or just cant afford $45/$50 for plowing when everything else has gone up except their monthly income. maybe you should do some reserch and thank us all for paying the last 40 years.you couldnt get $35 out of people last year why do you think you are going to get $45 /50 this year. why dont you do some budget cutting.start with the welcoming comm.-$50,entrance island$715,misc.$500,social picnic $500,contributions $50. the island look bads, not everyone goes to the socials .why should my snow plowing money go to something i will not attend.if you want to have such things there should be a fee to attend .welcome committee ,what a joke,do it your self for free .There i just saved $1815, thats 40 more homes that do not have to pay for something they dont use.and why dont you move back to where you came from?
Nice Attitude

Maybe you're not quite smart enough to realize that by ''thanking'' those that pay you are in a subtle way showing who isn't paying, obviously subtlety isn't exactly your strong point.

I understand that there are always some items that can be removed. The idea behind the welcoming committee is to make people feel like part of the community so they want to pay their dues. Again making people feel welcome obviously isn't something you believe in. The social is another opportunity to build a sense of community so people want to pay their dues, based on your attitude no one is really going to want you to attend any way.

How bad do you think the entrance island would look if they didn't pay someone to cut the grass for $50 a month? It would look great when the grass was a foot high.

If you feel $40 is too high then pay whatever you feel is a fair amount.

If you have so many opinions then why don't you attend the civic association meetings and put some legitimate input in when the budget is being developed. I guess it's a lot easier criticizing everything anonymously than volunteering your time (which by the way is free).

Keep in mind that ''everything else'' has gone up including the cost of snow removal, electricity, mailing, cutting grass, etc.

Oh by the way ''Thanks for paying your dues for the last 30/40 years''.

sense of community?

maybe you should do a study and read the statics of who and who doesnt participate in civic associations.
