The fence is repaired including the area below the pickets. Please post if area is messed with again. It would be nice to close off the street to prevent any vehicular traffic.

I've thought of putting a big glob of tar under the fence. I didn't do it, but its an option for the future. Thanks to the person or persons who repaired the fence. Let's hope it lasts. |

Vandals again ripped off part of the fence. Today (Tuesday) about 3:25 p.m. I surprised a carload of young people on the dead end street. Since they were all in the light-colored car, I don't know if they are the vandals. I did make a mental note of the license number, but since it took me a few minutes to walk home, I wouldn't swear it was accurate. I have thought that a chain barrier across the Dead End Street (it has a name, but it is only posted in the adjoining subdivision) near Lake Path Drive would deter some of this mindless vandalism. I'm thankful that this area is a lot cleaner than it was 2 years ago. |

Does anyone know the original purpose of the dead end street? Did the subdivision developers anticipate buying property along there and putting up more houses? If so, it seems that isn't going to happen. Where does Towne Lake property end along that street, and whose property is it after ours ends? Can we get with whoever owns the adjacent property to try to put in a more permanent barrier? Is this a matter of money? |
