Anyone else had their Flag pole pulled to the ground? We have. Our 25 ft. pole was pulled to the ground and broke off. We have had 4 flags stolen prior to this. Any suggestions? Also why can't we check into haveing speed bumps installed at the two main entrance 4 way stops? I think our children are more important than money!!!!

There have been no direct reports of flag pole theft or damage to this forum.It might be a good idea to report these incidents to the Marion County Sheriff's Department NON EMERGENCY TELEPHONE NUMBR: 327-3811 (be sure to include your specifc address, dates and any other pertinent information)

Regarding speed bumps or humps: This matter has been brought up many times at annual meetings as well as meetings with city traffic personnel and it has been explained that these bumps or humps are an expense to the city and are not put into service except in extreme instances. A traffic review and count is required and which has been pointed out, is expensive to the city Our requests have always been met with negativity. Sorry we cannot be more encouraging.
