President P. Dorriety called the meeting to order at 7:39pm.

Correction to July Minutes: none
Attendance: 24 members present + 16 proxies =40, therefore a quorum is present (10%)
Treasurer?’s Report ?– Presented by Randa Murray
?• Totals for Year Ending August 31, 2007: Revenues = $29,551; Expenses = $25,728; Account Balance is $89,511.
?• 2007/2008 Budget presented to be same as 2006/2007. Motion made to accept the proposed budget, seconded and vote was taken and approved.
Architectural Control
?• Homeowners are to continue submitting building requests to their Zone Director so that it may be presented to the Board for approval.
Maintenance Control
?• Lynn Frazier has continued to work hard to keep our neighborhood looking good.
Annual Meeting Business
?• Zone Director Elections (Odd numbers zones are up for election) The following people were nominated, accepted nomination, were seconded and voted in by the members present.

Architectural Control Committee
?• No plans submitted.
Maintenance Committee
?• Lynn has trimmed the front entrance, cleaned out a dead dogwood, and put mulch down on Harrodwood island. He will also be calling the county regarding the separation of asphalt on Stone Brook as you leave the subdivision.
?• The state has marked the dead sycamore tree, near the entrance, for removal.
?• There was a discussion about the shrubs on Huntsman on the bridge. They will be removed due to blocking homeowners?’ view of the street from their driveway and because they are overgrown. Possible replacements will be discussed later.
Completion of Old Business by 2006/2007 Board
?• Fieldstone and Cabin Hill have been paved.
?• Donnie Ray contacted ID about the surcharge that some homeowners received on their garbage bill. It was a mistake and a credit will be given if you call ID. We still encourage all homeowners to switch to ID, for neighborhood appearance, preservation of our roads, as well as the great rates offered! Per month?…$10.95 garbage pickup, 3.45 recycle, and 4.25 yard waste. ID?’s # 638-9000. Call Donnie Ray if you have any questions.
?• Peggy Dorriety presented a possible cover for a new bylaws/directory booklet. If anyone is interested in placing an ad to help cover costs, please contact your zone director. Homeowners will be asked if they are interested in a directory and if they would like their phone numbers to be listed.
?• Any homeowners that did not receive a new mailbox and have paid owed dues are welcome to ask for the plastic mailbox or apply the plastic?’s cost to a metal one.
?• Please visit our website to retrieve information regarding our Association.
New Business
?• Homeowner expressed concern over 8405 Cabin Hill, the house that is boarded up and in foreclosure. The yard has been cut, but not often enough. Gary Smith will speak to Metro Councilman James Peden to see what measures can be taken.
