President C. Sidebottom called the meeting to order at 7:38pm.
Board Attendance: President ?– C. Sidebottom, Zone 1 ?– L. Frazier, Zone 2 ?– D. Tschoepe, Zone 3 ?– S. Tischendorf (VP), Zone 4 - P. Purkey, Zone 5 - R. House, Zone 6 ?– C. Simpson, Zone 7 ?– G. Correction to July Minutes: Donna Tschoepe was marked absent, she was present.
Attendance: 19 members present + 8 proxies =27, therefore a quorum is present (10%)
Metro Councilman James Peden was in attendance. He reported that property along the Beulah Church /Fegenbush/Outerloop intersection is starting to be bought. Also, he will be contacting the state regarding the overgrown tree on Beulah Church that?’s been blocking the view at the curve.
Treasurer?’s Report ?– Presented by Randa Murray
?• Totals for Year Ending August 31, 2006: Revenues = $31,991; Expenses = $40,901; Account Balance is $85,688.
?• 2006/2007 Budget presented to be same as 2005/2006. Motion made to accept the proposed budget, seconded and vote was taken and approved.
Architectural Control
?• Homeowners are to continue submitting building requests to their Zone Director so that it may be presented to the Board for approval.
Maintenance Control
?• Since taking over the position from Gene Byrd, Lynn Frazier has done an outstanding job throughout the neighborhood.
Annual Meeting Business
?• Zone Director Elections (Even numbers zones are up for election) The following people were nominated, accepted nomination, were seconded and voted in by their zone members present.
Zone 2 ?– Donna Tschoepe
Zone 4 ?– Pat Purkey
Zone 6 ?– Cindy Simpson
Zone 8 ?– Paul Markwell
Zone 10 ?– Randa Murray
Zone 12 ?– Peggy (Hogan) Dorriety
Zone 9 ?– Rhonda Engler ?– This position has long been vacant and was opened to anyone living outside of Zone 9. Thank you to Rhonda for taking on this responsibility!
Motion made at 8:15pm to adjourn Annual Meeting, Seconded and Passed.

Treasurer?’s Report ?– presented by Randa Murray
?• The delinquent dues list will be long due to annual dues checks still coming in after the report has been made.
?• Second notices will be sent out Oct. 1st to those who have not paid the dues and liens will be placed on properties that have not paid by November 1st.
Architectural Control Committee
?• Plans were approved for these properties:
8308 Huntsman Trl ?–garage
8316 Huntsman Trl ?– garage and decorative wall
7406 Singletree Ct ?– shed and dog run
Maintenance Committee
?• Complaint about brush that has been sitting in front of 8201 Beulah Church for quite some time was addressed, as well as a complaint about the quality of grass cutting in the Saddle Horse/Cabin Hill area by our lawn service.
?• It was also noted that L. Frazier has to routinely pick up trash that has been dumped in the median on Stone Brook.
Completion of Old Business by 2005/2006 Board
?• The last remaining metal mailboxes were installed.
?• If anyone knows of a possible sponsor for a neighborhood directory, please contact your Zone Director.
?• ID junk pickup will be November 13th.
?• Monthly payments may be made to pay off any dues balance.
?• Signs were purchased and put out at both entrances to remind homeowners of the HOA meeting.
?• Please visit our website to retrieve information regarding our Association.
New Business
?• R. Murray will contact Jiggs to place an order for Christmas decorations for the front entrance.
