The feared object or subject is sometimes exaggerated, and the pattern of fear mongering is usually one of repetition, in order to continuously reinforce the intended effects of this tactic, sometimes in the form of a vicious circle.

It is obvious you have not been a Victim of Crime. For this you should be thankful for. But those who have have had their world changed for ever, especially if has occurred more that once. There is a new breed of Criminal amongst us. I cannot mention what that type of Criminal  is because people like yourselves again become opinionated and side step the issue of those who choose to be carreer criminals especially if the very Culture they come from condones it. Just like most out there I always thought "Not Me or Mine" it can't happen to me, But it DID. The Ironic thing about it was that I had always been semi-prepared for it because our once Safe Neighborhood has gone bad. Once I had been spotted talking to Police as a my being a member of the Neighborhood Watch we became Targeted. They came at us in waves of Orgainzed Terror and for the last now going on 4 years we have endured being Intimidated, Attacked, Terrorized and Stalked which included having our Vehicles, House, Pets get smashed up with large stones not to mention the attempted Driveby's and eventual Caprute of one of those Demons that had been up and on our property at 4:00 AM.  Understand this, My observations of the M O's used by  these Criminals even though they may Not know each other will join together and unite in an Orgaized Manner and will Target whoever the pick of the day is and if that person or persons is has not prepared his or her family just may be the next Statistical Number on a Police Report. Don't Wait unitl you become a Victim, Join your local Neighborhood Watch or any of the other Crime Prevention Associations such as the Alamo Area Crime Prevention Assoc or the San Antonio Crime Coaliton or your Neighborhood Assoc or Coaltion of yur HOA's or Anonymously Report Criminals Activity thru Crime Stoppers and help keep the Criminals at bay. Remember, Stay SAFE and be Observant !!!  Everyone's Safety doesn't come free. We all must work for it.
