After numerous emails, I have been unable to obtaina  budget or report for either year to compare and review for the upcoming meeting. I have also posted the question as to whether the members who have access to the money are bonded. No reply.

If anyone has a budget for 2008 or 2009 please email me a copy to rwolhar@hotmail.com

I am in disbelief that now that we do not have a management company the rates would increase and the need for such a "reserve" would be necessary.

Raising the rates makes it harder to sell your home, with a drastic reduction on home values to follow.

I am proud to say someone hand delivered me a budget tonight.

I received the budget from last year and for this year so far. Thank You. I am bewildered that we are going to raise the fee since we are saving $13,000 in management fees. I am also surprised there is a budget for snow removal, since we are part of the city of Milford, for $1500 per year.

With a 10% increase it looks like there will be over $26,000 in fees coming in. The budget without the management fees and the "snow removal" is less than half of that.

The office supplies, postage and envelopes that were just purchased for over $500 does not seem to be a annual expense if we are also paying $57.00 for a website. Is this website fee a monthly fee? Or a one time fee.

I am interested in seeing actual receipts for some of the expenses.

Also, can we get bids for our "grounds contract"...$6692 per summer seems high. I'll mow it for that!

Bids are important to save money.

I do not think the HOA board should be spending the money without a vote or a meeting anyway. If they all agree to some outrageous expense for the development, do they have the right/power to just spend the $26,000??!?!?

Less is more in my opinion. We got rid of the management company. Homes are not being built here. Lower the annual fee to $50 or $75 to make it more appealing to buyers and to ease the finances of the current homeowners.

The board wants a "reserve"......IF they increase our fee by 10% each year  *which they can do without a vote, and have proven that they will do it!!!)...in ten years our fee will be $427 per year.

We need to come together and stop this NOW!

This is not about a $15 increase. This is about abusing power, taking advantage of homeowners, and this relates to your homes value.

See you all Tuesday Night. Please attend!
