All,

We recently were informed by All-State that our yearly renewal was going to be significantly higher (50%) due to last years wind storm and increased claims in the area.  We have never had a claim ourselves, and I quickly discovered this increase was not justified after some research with other insurance companies and the Ohio Dept of Insurance.

If you are faced with a similar situation, I strongly urge you to contact your agent and seek out quotes for comparison.  I ended up canceling both my auto and home policies with All-State and transferred to State Farm in a matter of an hour and a phone call.  This was extremely easy and hassle free, involved no money out of pocket, and gave me better rates than I had already (despite my thinking that I had great rates with All-State).

I went with Tito Paul on Winter Street in Delaware, I recommend him for a friendly, quick and easy transition. www.titopaul.com

I want to thank you for posting this on our website. You were exactly right! Our home owners insurance went up. We have been with Nationwide for 25 years, with auto and home owner insurance. That was a slap in the face. YellSo we took your advise and called State Farm and now we have more coverage and a lower payment. Smile Thanks Nathan
