Brookside Park and Community Center

Brookside Park (est.1898) is 108 acres of rolling wooded greenspace located less than five minutes from downtown Indianapolis and a jewel in our community. There are numerous recreational opportunities available within the park boundaries that will appeal to all ages and walks of life. 

The heart of Brookside Park is the 20,000 square foot Family Center, which was built in 1928.  The Family Center is an architectural delight with intricate design and appearance. The Family Center is home to numerous programs and activities aimed at both youth and adults, and has become a popular choice for many family reunions, anniversary events, and wedding receptions year round. Most programs in the park are focused toward the youth of the community, which include athletic and educational programs
