In the past, the City has mowed right of way areas surrounding private residences, but that responsibility has been returned to the property owner.
Example: If you live along Harvard, the City will no longer mow the property between the street and your fence. You will be responsible for maintaining this area to help the City save $300,000 each year.
And as a reminder, Code enforcement will be sending notices to property owners if the grass/weeds grow to heights of 12 inces or greater.
