OK, I am going to be a whiner...I'll admit it now. There is a neighbor at the end of our block that is CONSTANTLY watering his yard in the middle of the day. I would guess 3-5 times a week, and not at night. I know we are on a one day watering restriction, in the evenings. Today, the sprinklers were on the the middle of the rain. Yes, I am jealous because their yard is becoming greener and greener and mine is just leaves and dirt. Does anyone know what our watering days are, and if I can do anything anonymously? We've already had a few run-ins with them because of their vicious cat-eating dog. I'd rather not tip my hat....any suggestions?

Watering Offender
Why not report him to the city? You can call 893-7761. Anyone watering that needs to be cited. I don't see your concern as being a ''whiner''. You have a legitimate problem. This is what this site is all about. By carol |

Restrictions
Amy- Before you go reporting him to the city, you can make sure he is violating the current restrictions by checking the City of St. Pete website. There, you can find out the exact water restrictions (there is a link to the site on the main page of the Kenwood site). I pasted some of these for you. They update the restrictions so you have to check once in a while to see what's currently in effect. Maybe he has reclaimed water?? Is his landscaping new? He might have obtained a variance. Maybe none of this is the case and he's just violating the restrictions. In any case, it's good to be informed before making any calls.
