At City Team Meeting today, the following prioity properties were discussed:
1. 305 12th Ave. N.E.--condemned and City is accepting bids for demo after owner failed to pull demo permit within agreed-upon 30 day time frame. Demo is finally imminent!
2. 310 8th Ave. N., demolition process is proceeding.
3. 332 9th Ave.N. (Nadine Smith) This property is still in violation, is now vacant, had liens placed against it for non-compliance, and Codes is proceeding with ordinance violation. Release of liens was denied recently. Part of CVS proposed development.
4. 322 9th Ave. N., Nadine Smith, NOT part of CVS development. Liens imposed and release of liens denied, proceeding to ordinance violation and demo process. Vacant and secured.
5. 824 Bay Street N.E., Milos Paunic. Pink structure, appeal of demo order will be heard on May 5.Secured.
6. 840 Bay Street, another new owner, Alexander Gajewski. Unfit for occupancy and utilities on hold to prevent occupancy. Each time the City gets close to a Code Enforcement Board hearing, the property is sold to a new owner, forcing the City to start over.
7. 315 10th Ave. N., Robert Fletcher, multiple violations, this property has had liens previously. Continues to be in non-compliance and City is awaiting sign-of by City attorney to proceed.
