My point was that you did not initially seem to see the error of speeding on Beach when you referred to it as "dizzying" in an ironic way. Glad you paid your ticket and are now being more careful. I try to watch myself, too.
Back to 9th. Over the last ten years of
traffic meetings, no easy solution has been found. Unfortunately the stop signs did not solve the problem. So, I suggested highlighting them with bold white, reflective lines, which have been shown to be effective.
Closing off access from 9th to 3th would never be accepted by the city or the residents. Some other solution needs to be found.
Speeding is a citywide problem. And I do agree with your point that it is a shame that we don't have enough officers to give out tickets everywhere.
