I, like Mr. Mitrovka, have not come to a final decision about the proposed drug store. I'd love to see some type of development on that corner to replace the current store. I've lived in Old Northeast almost 30 years and can't remember the last time I shopped there because it was, in a word, filthy. I do have concerns about the scope of the project. But just this past week I've been in businesses up and down 4th Street North that have parking lots or buildings encroaching half a block into residential sections, and there doesn't seem to be a problem.
What really bothers me about this whole process of communication, though, is that so many people participating in this site choose to remain anonymous. We're all in this together, folks. How about the courtesy of letting us know who's speaking out?
Thanks.
