CVS - wait for all the facts

STOP CVS ?..why not compromise!

All of what I see and hear via petitions, yard signs, and newspaper "PR" is STOP CVS!

There are very limited indications that a plan is being developed for working a compromise with the developers by the most vocal, those who are against this project!

I did not critize anyone for getting involved, but these involved individuals that "swelled the ranks" of this long-standing committee for this issue alone should be representing the interests of entire neighboirhood!

An interesting FACT - drove by the area again today, and saw no yard signs on the affected block!

The celebrities I referred to were Hulk Hogan and Beverly Sasson (both mentioned in today's Times article as possibly lending weight to the issue)- not exactly the experts in the field, unless they have been, or are involved in a similar neighborhood issue.

Transitional Area = Risks

When you purchase in a transitional area, marked for commercial redevelopment there are risks, the worst not being a brand new, well maintained business.

Let's work together to arrive at how the facility will look, at least!

Edgy NE

Over the years I have chosen to live in three historic neighborhoods in three cities.

The social and economic diversity that makes them an interesting environment, also makes them a little edgy. That's why many of us choose to live here in the old NE.

The city's comprehensive plan calls for commercial redevelopment in the area in question and that's what's hopfuly happening...period!

NDR Committee is growing

I agree, the NDR committee should represent all quadrants of our neighborhood, and should be made up of residents from throughout the area.

I've been at many NSNA meetings, and never thought such committee involvement existed-not even for Sunken Gardens!

Who is on this large committee of 22 that "represents" me, and did they join up at the last minute just to fight CVS?

I hope they stay on after the dust has cleared no matter the result of this plan to help North Shore grow!
