The vote was overwhelmingly against CVS tonight, but guess what, I didn't see not one member of City Council present.

It is now time, to contact every member of City Council and let them know personally how you feel. You can bet the CVS supporters, many with vested direct financial interests, and their attorneys and lobbyists will be calling, and meeting with the council members. Do you want our elected representatives only to hear CVS' side of the story.

Encourage them to represent the neighborhood residents, not the well-heeled northerners, and their hired guns.

Emotions versus Facts

You imply that the city council is representing the well-heeled northerners and their hired guns? Where do you come off with that comment, qualify it with some facts in writing and not with your emotional opinion. Have you heard of the "Sunshine Law"?

The time for the city council to be present is at the city meeting this Thursday at 6:00 pm.

I'm saddened with the lack of dignity and respect people are showing with this situation.

Be part of the solution and not part of the problem!

Have we finally heard from our president online?

I too am saddened by the lack of dignity and respect I read here in some of these postings.

I am also saddened by the fact that we have had a biased president (or two) who would not open the process without
the residents having to petition for it.

A president should set the tone for
dignity and must earn respect.

Again may I respectfully ask why you went aginst your own members and so obviously sided with the developers during the NDR process? Or do you disagree with my premise that a president should be trying to build concensus and look out for the majority of the residents?
