Last night's overwhelming vote was more than a resounding NO to CVS. It was also a vote against the leadership in general and Steve Lang in particular.

For three successive weeks he treated those of us from the membership who attended the NRD meetings with contempt and disgust. How dare we question his one person rule?

We have done more than just question. By turning out last night in the numbers we did, we have rejected him as our leader. He can no longer claim to be our chosen representatvie. A man of honor would have resigned long ago. How can we go about replacing this arrogant dictator with someone who truly represents the membership?

Steve Lange has the best of intentions. He has worked hard for the association. When one person has been involved for so long it is hard for that person not to begin to think that he or she has special insight into what is best for an orgainzation. I suspect that this is the root of the mess here. The solution is for more perople from the membership to get involved. If only a handful of people are willing to work, then power is concentrated in the few. So if you want change GET INVOLVED! The last thing this association needs is another resignation. Le's go forward no matter what the outcome of CVS!

Amen brother! People say get envolved well I have tried. I have offered my professional services to him in conjunction with the monuments my efforts were rejected. he wants to keep people under him he can have control over. We don't need a leader like that. The public opinion the way it is I don't know how he can show his face let alone call himself a leader.
