I just got back in town and was driving down Beach Drive and was devastated to see 624 Beach Drive's remodeling. The front proch was ripped down, removing it's beautiful previous contribution to the neighborhood, new doors and windows not in keeping with the neighborhood's historic nature, etc. What happened? Does the NDRC have any say in this? Is anyone aware of what else is to come on this house. Please do a drive by, it will hurt your heart...How are we going to protect our neighborhood from this type of remodeling effectively BEFORE the wrecking ball hits...I want to help, can't stand to see this continue.
