On Oct. 10, there was a meeting of the CVS Traffic Calming Subcommittee, which is chaired by Ken Guckenberger. CVS agreed in their negotiations with the NSNA NDR special committee to pay for traffic calming devices due to the impact of their store on adjacent avenues. The meeting Tuesday night included Mike Fredericks from the City, who explained the various available traffic calming devices and provided estimated costs. Those who live on 8th Ave. and 9th Avenue or in the area closest to the CVS project should contact Ken or Lane Lastinger to become aware of the planning process and to express your concerns. Hope this is helpful.
