There is a Nominations Committee that is comprised of two NSNA members who volunteered at the October 16 General Membership meeting, Steve Deal and Rob Wertz, and two Board members, Arlene Bartley and Will Goetz. According to our Bylaws, the President Elect chairs this committee, so I'm providing a notice that nominations for Board positions will occur at the November 20 General Membership meeting. Elections will occur at the January GM meeting. 2001 is going to be a productive and positive year for the NSNA, and I want to encourage you to consider serving on the Board. We are seeking candidates representing all areas of the neighborhood who enjoy communication, collaboration, consensus-building and cooperation--people who can disagree but negotiate, resolve conflict and compromise in the interest of the neighborhood.
