SAVE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH!!!!

I too attend St. Peters Cathedral and do not feel it is appropriate for this or any neighborhood association to take a position on our church business. North Shore has no right to do so. I agree with the other writers.

History is everyone!

Guess what church members!!!!???

By the mere fact that your building is beautiful AND historical ALL St. Petersburg residents have a right to comment on (and fight) it's short-sighted destruction for PARKING!!!!
Is this 1961 or 2001???

Yes, St. Petersburg residents do have a right to speak out on the issues of preservation. I, like the other people, do not think that North Shore N. A. has the right, as an organization, to speak out one way or the other. I have been to all of the meetings and do not ever remember a discussion or vote on this issue. The people speaking out on behalf of North Shore are simply stating their own opinions. That is wrong. Susan R. should shut up.
guess who

Rumor has it that Jim Martin is behind all this getting North Shore involved in the church deal. Yep, the same Jim Martin who years ago blew his cool and sawed off his fence and got the court order going that made it illegal to cross 9th Ave to continue south on First Street. Gee, thanks, Jim, from all of us who now have all the traffic on 2nd Avenue. Glad your house is missing all that traffic. Susan R. needs to watch who she listens to and trust her own judgement.
