The NSNA Elections Committee is forming under the leadership of new President Elect Chris Eaton. It's time to volunteer to serve or to nominate an interested neighbor. Persons who have been NSNA members for a minimum of one year can serve as an officer. Persons who have been members for at least one month can serve as Board Directors. There are a maximum of 11 Board members, including 4 officers. Chris will ascend to the Presidency Jan. 1, 2002. So, the Elections Committee, which consists of two NSNA members and two Board members, will receive nominations for election in November. We need to have a slate of candidates to introduce at the October membership meeting. We would like to see representation from all areas of the neighborhood. I can tell you that it's a very worthwhile experience to serve the neighborhood.
