32-gallon containers(i.e., metal or heavy duty plastic cans) with tight-fitting lids or securely tied heavy-duty opaque plastic refuse bags are required. Violation carries a fine of $50 to $100 dollars. Note: Cardboard boxes and paper bags are not proper receptacles for refuse or recyclables.
